The LoadMaxx Tractor Scale combines state-of-the-art hardware and software technology to accurately measure and display steer and drive axle group weights, GVW, and net payload weights. Weight information is shown on an in-dash display.  It can also be transmitted to the tractor’s data bus for use by other vehicle applications and wireless transmission to fleet headquarters.

A LoadMaxx Scale on the tractor can help legalize axle weights even if the trailer is not scaled.  LoadMaxx Tractor Scales automatically communicate with LoadMaxx Trailer Scales, without operator input.  When connected to a LoadMaxx-equipped trailer, the trailer weight automatically appears on the in-cab display and is included in GVW and Net Payload weights.

How It Works

LoadMaxx works on tractors with air drive suspensions and most trucks with leaf spring steer axles and air suspension drive axles. Air pressure sensors measure pressure in the air springs, and deflection sensors measure flex for axles with leaf spring suspensions. The scale converts the sensor measurements into accurate on-the-ground weights.

Properly calibrated and used, LoadMaxx is accurate to within 300 lbs on each axle group.

Easy to Operate

Air-Weigh's simple on-screen menu makes it easy to setup and calibrate your scale. Drivers can learn to use Air-Weigh scales in just a few minutes. Air-Weigh has a driver user manual and  instruction cards  for training drivers on proper scale operation. To weigh the vehicle, park on a level surface with the engine running, wheels straight, and the brakes released. The drive air suspension is briefly deflated, then allowed to return to ride height with the brakes released.

3 Year Warranty

Product Details

For product failures due to material or manufacturing defects, Air-Weigh will replace or repair all air suspension components for up to 3 years from shipment date to the end-user Air-Weigh customer. These three-year components include: Displays, ComLinks, Air Sensors, Power Cables, Air Sensor Assemblies, Air Sensor Harnesses, Deflection Sensors, and all other associated external components. Air-Weigh assumes no responsibility for administering warranty claims directly with any third party end users.

The responsibility of Air-Weigh under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or credit of the defective part or assembly.

This warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damage to persons or property caused by use, abuse, misuse, or failure to comply with installation or operating instructions. This limited warranty does not apply to any product that has failed due to accident, abuse, alteration, installation not consistent with printed installation instructions, improper maintenance, improper operation, or as a result of system integration or installation not explicitly approved in writing by Air-Weigh.

Air-Weigh and its resellers shall have no responsibility or liability for damages if the purchaser or any other person alters the vehicle incorporating Air-Weigh products. This limited warranty shall not apply to any product that has been repaired or altered by anyone not employed by Air-Weigh or not operated in accordance with the manufacturer's printed material delivered with this product.

Air-Weigh hereby expressly disclaims any and all implied warranties of any type, kind of nature whatsoever, and particularly any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose not expressly stated by Air-Weigh in its printed material delivered with its products.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. If such laws apply, the limitations or exclusions contained in the terms and conditions of this Warranty may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary state to state.
