Air-Weigh, the transportation industry’s leading supplier of on-board electronic scales, announced that Texas-based Pavestone is installing Air-Weigh’s new QuickLoad scale across their entire national fleet of trucks servicing 20 regional manufacturing locations and distributing to over 40 states. Pavestone is a leader in high quality concrete landscaping products. Pavestone’s National Fleet Maintenance Manager, Bob Insley, says, “Using Air-Weigh scales will help us maintain our good safety rating under the new CSA 2010 program.” Bob also said, “With the QuickLoad scale we can weigh right at the loading site to ensure that the vehicle steer, drive and trailer axle weights are within legal limits. Air-Weigh gives our drivers confidence that they are in compliance.” “We are pleased that Pavestone has chosen Air-Weigh to help manage their weight compliance, and to provide their drivers with a cost-effective tool to ensure safe and legal loading,” said Martin Ambros, Air-Weigh’s CEO and president. With Air-Weigh scales, fleets eliminate overweight fines and all of the costs and delays incurred by checking weights at an in-ground scale. Air-Weigh scales increase loading efficiency and decrease overall cost per mile for fleets that check-weigh. They also help fleets comply with federal and local weight laws enforced under the new CSA 2010 safety program. |
